A new report by crypto firm Paxos has revealed that 99% of financial services companies in the US are placing equal or greater emphasis on digital assets and blockchain projects this year compared to previous years. However, the survey of 400 executives also highlighted the challenges and barriers to adoption, with 56% citing implementation complexity as the biggest impediment. Market volatility (51%) and financial costs (43%) were also identified as major hurdles. Despite this, less than 2% of respondents viewed a lack of belief in blockchain’s benefits as a significant impediment. The report suggests that working with crypto-native firms can help overcome infrastructure challenges.
