In reply to that, a new Chrome extension has been created to remove these AI overviews. It is expected that the AI Overviews will be available to US users this week and in more countries in the coming months and will reach more than 1 billion users before the end of the year. For those who prefer a more traditional search, a separate extension is available, which will make their interaction with the search results much easier by removing AI summaries.
