Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss argues that the cryptocurrency industry should not “tolerate any possibility of a repeat of the last 4 years.” The United States government must “take action” to inform the cryptocurrency industry who will be leading the securities watchdog ahead of the US election, according to Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss. “We should demand to know, among other things, who the next chair of the SEC is before we head to the ballot box,” Winklevoss declared in a lengthy X post on July 26 while revealing that he and his brother Cameron Winklevoss — also a Gemini co-founder — were recently uninvited from a recent event at the White House for endorsing Donald Trump. Winklevoss believes this “perfectly captures” President Joe Biden’s administration’s stance on the crypto industry. “The Biden-Harris Administration had an opportunity to try and reset the relationship with the crypto industry this week,” he claimed.
