The Base Layer 2 (L2) network has seen massive capital inflows in the past 24 hours, driven by bullish sentiment after Coinbase’s Q2 earnings beat expectations. When Base debuted, Coinbase said exchange users would access the crypto ecosystem via Base’s intuitive interface. The renewed positive sentiment comes after firm’s Q2 earnings showed it beat its revenue expectations. Coinbase reported its Q2 earnings on Thursday, recording a profit of $0.14 per share on revenue of $1.40 billion, surpassing Wall Street estimates, which had anticipated a profit of $0.94 per share on revenue of $1.38 billion. The exchange’s subscription and services unit, comprising non-trading-related businesses, contributed $599 million to the revenue totals.
