It will grant access to two of the most popular Bitcoin ETFs: BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), and the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC). Morgan Stanley’s move is in line with the larger trend of developing acceptance for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In so doing, their move makes provision for shifting scenery with digital assets by placing familiar financial instruments in front of Morgan Stanley clients to invest in Bitcoin. Bitcoin ETF Listing Coincides with Market Volatility It follows the approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs for listing on U.S. exchanges early this year. Since their listing in January, the ETFs have seen high price volatility, peaking in February. Interest in Bitcoin investment remains high, even as prices recently plunged lower than $50,000.
