Screenshots circulating on social media revealed multiple posts from the hacked account, falsely claiming that the memecoin was an experimental project by McDonald’s on the Solana blockchain. The hackers employed the Solana platform Pump Fun to secure 75% of the Grimace token’s total circulating supply, which they then distributed across around 100 different wallets.
