As of Sept. 20, altcoins danced in the green, with some jotting in double digits in a resurgent crypto market. Rollblock (RBLK), a new altcoin in presale, led the way with a 170% price jump, hitting a new all time high as the ICO garnered over $3.7 million by stage 6! But the crypto bull is rarely without victims. Ethereum price and VeChain (VET) seemed to emerge as early casualties, lagging even as BTC price knocked past $63k. That spurred ETH and VET investors to quit sluggish ships amid analysts’ calls for a whopping 880% presale return for RBLK. Will Ethereum price smash its all time high in 2024? Ethereum still reigns over the smart contracts market. There are more than 4,000 decentralized applications on the platform, with its TVL exceeding $46 billion. But Ethereum is slow and expensive to run, giving faster horses like Solana headroom to trounce ETH price. Ethereum price reached an all time high of $4.8k in 2021. In the recent bull run, ETH didn’t smash its ATH and has been crumbling down despite the recent launch of ETH ETFs. At $2.5k, ETH was down over 47% from ATH, and its chances of hitting a new all time high in 2024 are getting slimmer. Is VeChain (VET) still on a mission? VeChain was one of the early birds in the blockchain space, with a robust mission to transform supply chain management through distributed ledger technology (DIT). VET delivered monster yields to early adopters in the 2021 bull cycle when it surged from $0.00156, reaching an all time high of $0.279 for a 179x return!
