The idea behind this collaboration is to make blockchain data accessible. With the help of the introduced function of including ENS domain searches in Google, users do not have to use third-party blockchain explorers to see the details of their wallets. The new functionality simplifies that and makes Web3 data more accessible to the mainstream internet user. How It Works According to the announcement from ENS Labs, using the feature is straightforward: Users just type any .eth domain name in the Google search box. It then displays related information, such as the domain name with a linked wallet address and the domain’s Ethereum balance. The displayed balance is calculated according to the latest transactions, excluding internal transfers.
