Donald Trump will attend the WEF virtually, which is scheduled for next week. Three days after entering the White House, his appearance is expected to be the highlight of the annual elite gathering in the Swiss Alpine resort. Borge Brende, a former Norwegian foreign minister who heads the Geneva-based organization, said, “On Thursday afternoon, he will join us digitally, online, and live in a dialogue with our participants. We think that will be a very special moment […] notably to help learn the administration’s “policy priorities.” According to the forum administrators, the annual meeting is anticipated to attract nearly 3,000 participants from over 130 countries, including a record-breaking 900 business leaders from significant emerging markets. Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang and EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will be present in person. Additionally, Argentine President Javier Milei and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez will be among the global leaders in attendance.
