It’s much bigger than simply her most successful tune in the Unied States. The track is far and away one of the most commercially viable releases by any K-pop musician in American history. It has remained on a number of Billboard rankings for half a year, and nearly every frame, it ties a record or pushes a ceiling even higher. While “Apt” is slipping on some lists, it’s still climbing on at least one — and that’s enough to help the tune make history once again. Rosé Rises on the Adult Contemporary Chart On the latest edition of the Adult Contemporary chart, Billboard’s ranking of the cuts that reach the largest total audience via radio stations that focus on the adult contemporary subgenre of pop, “Apt.” pushes forward just one space, settling at No. 16. That’s not a new peak for the tune, but rather, the song returns to its all-time high on the ranking. Rosé Ties BTS Again Sixteenth place is the highest any K-pop act has ever climbed on the Adult Contemporary chart. The rise of “Apt.” helps Rosé once again tie with BTS’s “Dynamite” and “My Universe” with Coldplay, as both of those tunes also reached that spot several years ago.
