That’s clearly reflected in the group’s latest project, as the jam rockers score a new bestseller in America as The Music Never Stopped arrives and adds to the outfit’s incredibly impressive run of top-performing titles. Grateful Dead’s New Bestselling Album The Music Never Stopped appears on just one Billboard chart this week, following its first complete tracking frame of availability. The set opens at No. 19 on the Top Album Sales chart, launching with just under 3,900 pure purchases, according to Luminate. A Low Starting Point for the Grateful Dead No. 19 is actually fairly low for the Grateful Dead when it comes to a debut position on the Top Album Sales chart. The band typically starts new collections inside the top 10, and daily frequently, very close to the summit. While it does miss the loftiest space on the list, it’s worth noting that The Music Never Stopped is the group’s fourth new arrival on the list of the top-selling albums in the U.S. in 2025 alone. The band has stalled in the runner-up spot with half of those collections, as both Dave’s Picks, Volume 53: Riverfront Coliseum, Cincinnati, OH – 10/2/76 and Dave’s Picks, Volume 54: Baltimore Civic Center, Baltimore, MD – 3/26/73 missed out…
