Eric Trump, a son of US President Donald Trump, has denied reports that he will be involved in blockchain network Tron’s intent to pursue a public offering in the United States, though he had positive things to say about the project’s founder, Justin Sun. “I’m the biggest fan of Tron,” Trump said on social media, adding that he admires Sun and considers him a “great friend and icon in the crypto space.” However, he denied an earlier report by the Financial Times claiming that he would be part of Sun’s new public venture. As part of the deal, SRM will rebrand as Tron Inc. and establish a substantial Tron (TRX) treasury through a $100 million private equity investment. Tron is the world’s ninth-largest blockchain project, with a market capitalization of $26.5 billion, according to CoinMarketCap.
