We asked ChatGPT to analyze the potential tailwinds and pitfalls for top cryptocurrencies in 2025 and ultimately forecast their prices. Solana, XRP, and Ethereum are each poised for significant returns, although they’re not without risk.

But while ChatGP backs crypto majors for growth, it recommended Solana layer 2 token Solaxy as a promising alternative with more upside potential.

Solana Could Top $400 With Institutional Tailwind

Dozens of variables affect how crypto prices move, which is why ChatGPT has provided three different potential outcomes for Solana, XRP, and Ethereum in 2025.

Starting with the most bearish Solana case, the chatbot anticipates it could peak between $100 and $160. This scenario would occur if the macroeconomic landscape presents challenges (e.g. no interest rate cuts, GDP slowdowns, and trade wars). 

However, leading analysts and market participants anticipate two rate cuts this year, and it appears that trade war tensions are gradually tapering. Meanwhile, global liquidity is rising, as tracked with the M2 money supply. While not without risk, all of this signifies a positive macro outlook for crypto this year, and indicates that this scenario is unlikely (but not impossible).

That brings us to the next forecast, in which ChatGPT targets between $150 and $250 for Solana, calling this the “Base Case.”

It notes that this price level would be enabled by “modest bull momentum” and “mild ETF buzz.”

However, if the ETF buzz manifests into real institutional demand, Solana could climb much higher. ChatGPT outlines a bullish case where $SOL reaches from $300 to over $400, fueled by institutional capital inflows and Solana network upgrades.

Currently priced at $146, reaching $400 would result in a 173% gain for $SOL.

Asset Tokenization and CBDC Could Take XRP to $10

XRP is known for lengthy consolidation periods and then explosive breakouts. It has teetered between $2 and $3 since late November – ChatGPT’s bear case anticipates a continuation of chop should legal delays cool bullish sentiment.

Macroeconomic headwinds and a continued shift of retail users away from Ethereum could stunt its growth this year, leading to a peak price between $1,600 and $3,000, according to ChatGPT.

Rising competition from Solana and other newer, faster chains has led to a reduction in Ethereum’s interest this cycle compared to previous ones.

However, it’s worth noting that the overall market sentiment on Ethereum has been improving recently, with network upgrades and app development signaling gains are ahead. ChatGPT anticipates ETF developments and the continuity of DeFi and L2 adoption culminating into a base case in which $ETH lands between $3,000 and $4,000.

In the most bullish scenario, ChatGPT forecasts a move to $4,500 to $6,200, citing strong ETF flows, network upgrades, and on-chain momentum as catalysts for this bullish move.

From its current price of $2,500, Ethereum reaching $6,200 would result in a 148% uptick.

The bull case for each of Solana, XRP, and Ethereum would result in substantial gains, particularly compared to the return on investment (ROI) of traditional assets, such as stocks and gold. But many crypto traders aim for much bigger returns.

Usually, investors must buy newer and smaller market-cap alternatives to outperform well-established cryptocurrencies. As such, we asked ChatGPT to recommend its most promising pick. It pointed to Solaxy, the new Solana layer 2 blockchain that’s undergoing a presale.

ChatGPT Says $SOLX Could Yield a 1,825% Gain This Year

The Solaxy presale has raised $55 million to date, making it the largest Solana presale in history.

But it’s for good reason: Solaxy aims to tackle Solana’s most pressing issue of congestion. During periods of peak network activity, Solana validators are unable to handle all transaction requests, leading to delays and failed transactions.

Should the mainnet successfully launch and staking demand and token burns occur, Solaxy could reach between $0.025–$0.031.

And if the L2 gains traction and Solana congestion amplifies Solaxy adoption, then $SOLX could reach $0.034, marking a 1,825% gain.

With strong presale demand, a promising use case, and exciting price forecasts, it appears that everything is in place for $SOLX to boom.
