Tether’s vision towards a trillion autonomous agents
The post Tether’s vision towards a trillion autonomous agents appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com.
According to Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, within the next fifteen years, a trillion AI agents could manage independent transactions with Bitcoin and USDT, revolutionizing the entire concept of digital commerce. The rise of AI agents and the key role of Bitcoin and USDT (Tether) The forecast provided by the CEO of Tether stands out for its boldness: within 15 years, Ardoino estimates that every AI agent—autonomous entities based on algorithmic logic and machine learning—will have its own digital wallet. This scenario even foresees the emergence of a trillion AI agents operating on the network. These agents would conduct economic exchanges completely independently of humans, leveraging platforms like Bitcoin and USDT, Tether’s stablecoin. The advantage of Bitcoin in transaction management lies in its fundamental properties: decentralization, transparency, and censorship resistance. These aspects, essential for the trust of human users, become even more crucial when transactions are automated and occur between machines. Stablecoin and the leadership of USDT In the digital currency sector, Ardoino emphasized how USDT has now become the preferred tool for traders. This is evidenced by the fact that over half of the global market capitalization of stablecoin is represented by USDT—with a value exceeding 155 billion dollars according to the latest data reported by the United States Treasury Department. Stablecoins, digital currencies pegged to stable assets like the dollar, indeed offer the stability essential for automating payments between artificial agents. Furthermore, technological tools developed by Tether, such as the wallet development kit (WDK), have given a significant boost to the adoption of USDT. These toolkits, along with the newly launched innovative projects, allow developers to integrate USDT into AI solutions and peer-to-peer networks with minimal technical hurdles.
