Upexi, a company better known for supply chain management, has gone even further. After aggressively buying throughout July, its SOL holdings now exceed 2 million tokens. According to CEO Allan Marshall, the firm is earning an estimated $65,000 per day in staking rewards at an 8% yield—thanks to most of those tokens being staked. Meanwhile, DeFi Development Corp., a company that recently rebranded from its real estate financing roots, has accumulated over 1.2 million SOL. It plans to distribute its stake across multiple validators for long-term network participation and earnings. Chasing Yield and Differentiation According to CoinGecko, more than 3.5 million SOL—worth around $590 million—is now held by the top four publicly traded Solana-heavy firms. This represents nearly 0.65% of the total circulating supply, reflecting an emerging trend among corporates to diversify away from Bitcoin and toward assets with staking incentives.
