European countries are developing a 12-point peace proposal to end Russia’s war with Ukraine, based on existing front lines. The plan will be overseen by a peace committee to be formed under the chairmanship of US President Donald Trump. The plan calls for Russia and Ukraine to agree to a ceasefire, halt territorial gains by both sides, and return exiled children to Ukraine. It also includes a prisoner exchange, security guarantees for Ukraine, and funding for post-war repairs.
