The underlying asset benefited from some of those, as it pumped to a fresh all-time high of $3.65 in mid-July. However, it has slumped hard in the following months and now sits below a crucial support line at $1.90.

Although it saw the release of five spot XRP ETFs since mid-November, its price performance has been quite underwhelming, losing roughly 25% of its value since the first one went live. With just days left of 2025, we asked a few AI projects about their predictions for the year’s end.

ChatGPT and Perplexity agreed with certain analysts’ claims that the fact that XRP dumped below $1.90 could spell further trouble in the following week. OpenAI’s solution outlined that the next significant support levels lie at $1.70-$1.75, which, if broken to the downside, might result in another pullback to and below $1.50.

In case of a more profound price revival by the end of the year, the token would need to decisively reclaim the $1.90 resistance and aim for the next one at $2.00. If it’s successful, which seems rather unlikely at the moment, then it could go for $2.20.

ChatGPT admitted that the overall market condition is quite unfavorable even for larger-cap alts, and added:

“With Bitcoin steady but not especially bullish, XRP is lacking the external momentum needed for a strong year-end recovery.”

Final Verdict

2025 has been spectacular, at least until the middle of it, for XRP, but mostly for the entity behind it. Now, the situation looks rather worrisome, and there’s little hope in the price predictions coming from the AI solutions.

Grok joined the overall bearish side, indicating that a price drop to $1.60 is highly likely, especially if BTC is rejected once again at $88,000 or even $90,000, which has been the case over the past few weeks. Following each failed attempt, the altcoins fall even further, which is evident from the rising Bitcoin dominance.
