If approved, the move would mark one of the most expansive attempts yet to package individual altcoins into regulated U.S. investment products. Up to 60% of a fund’s assets could be invested directly in the underlying cryptocurrency, while at least 40% would be allocated to securities issued by exchange-traded products that also track or reference the same asset.
