The Open Network Foundation has launched TON Pay to expand crypto payments across Telegram Mini Apps. The new payment software kit is aimed at everyday consumer transactions. Moreover, the launch makes Telegram a rising star blockchain commerce platform for mainstream users across the globe.

TON Pay is a wallet-agnostic payment layer for Telegram Mini Apps. As a result, users are not limited to particular wallet applications. This design has a lot in common with familiar Web2 payment experiences and makes overall transactions much more convenient.
