A confirmed break above this band would have opened the path toward $1.08, based on the next Fibonacci extension level from the same retracement structure. On the downside, the invalidation level remained $0.641. Losing $0.641 would have weakened the bullish structure and increased the probability of a deeper pullback toward the $0.50 region. This aligned with the 50% retracement area where prior demand historically tended to reappear.
