BlackRock plans ETHB Ethereum ETF staking 70–95% of ETH, distributing 82% rewards, with 0.25% sponsor fee. BlackRock is preparing a new Ethereum ETF that centers on staking rewards instead of price exposure alone. The proposed fund, named iShares Staked Ethereum Trust, is expected to trade under the ticker ETHB. The structure is designed to distribute most staking income directly to investors within a regulated framework. The fund plans to stake between 70% and 95% of its ETH holdings. This structure prioritizes yield generation within an exchange-traded product. A liquidity sleeve of 5% to 30% will remain unstaked. This portion will support redemptions and daily operations. The approach allows the trust to meet investor demand while maintaining staking exposure. The trust intends to distribute 82% of staking rewards to shareholders. The remaining 18% will be shared between BlackRock and Coinbase. Coinbase is expected to act as the staking execution partner. The ETF will charge a 0.25% sponsor fee on assets. This fee applies in addition to the reward-sharing structure. The model integrates blockchain-based rewards into a traditional fund vehicle. Building on the Success of BlackRock’s ETHA BlackRock already manages the iShares Ethereum Trust ETF under the ticker ETHA. That spot Ethereum ETF has accumulated more than $6 billion in assets since launch. ETHA provides exposure to Ethereum price movements without staking rewards. ETHB introduces a different framework centered on yield distribution. Investors would gain access to both ETH price performance and staking income.
