The proposed fund, named iShares Staked Ethereum Trust, is expected to trade under the ticker ETHB. This portion will support redemptions and daily operations. The approach allows the trust to meet investor demand while maintaining staking exposure. The trust intends to distribute 82% of staking rewards to shareholders. The remaining 18% will be shared between BlackRock and Coinbase. Coinbase is expected to act as the staking execution partner. The ETF will charge a 0.25% sponsor fee on assets. This fee applies in addition to the reward-sharing structure. The model integrates blockchain-based rewards into a traditional fund vehicle.
