Galaxy Arena’s Beta Launch Boosts ESNC; Celestia Launches Arabica and Mocha
Daily Top Mover — Galaxy Arena Metaverse (ESNC)
U.S. equities ended the volatile week in red, with tech-heavy Nasdaq declining 2.7%. November’s CPI print surprised to the downside, reinforcing the narrative of peak inflation, while the dot plot from December’s FOMC meeting dashed hopes of a rate drop in 2023. After a roller-coaster week, equities ended up in red, painting a negative outlook for the near term as recession concerns began circling again. Meanwhile, the broader cryptocurrency has followed the footsteps of equities, with Bitcoin down 2.5% and Ether down 6.8% in the past week. The weekend has seen stabilized price movements, with Bitcoin and Ether down 0.2% and 0.4%, respectively, in the past 24 hours. The top mover for today, ESNC, which registered a 21.43% increase in the past 24 hours, has clearly outperformed the market on the back of its upcoming beta launch and new game partnerships.
ESNC is the native token used for in-game purchases on the decentralized metaverse Galaxy Arena, similar to MANA for Decentraland. Galaxy Arena’s beta launch is scheduled to happen on Dec 20, 2022. The hype around the new metaverse project, as well as a slew of new game partnerships, prompted ESNC to almost double from its bottom. Galaxy Arena is built on Polygon and differentiates itself from other sandbox games by bringing move-to-earn concepts into the decentralized metaverse platform. Its VR and AR headset compatibility offers users an immersive experience, a key characteristic that sets Galaxy Arena apart from its peers. Galaxy Arena aspires to incorporate more comprehensive features to enhance in-game playability amid languishing activities on top decentralized metaverse platforms such as Decentraland.
