Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury Credit: Getty Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua, and Tyson Fury reportedly have dates for their next fights but aren’t fighting each other. According to ESPN’s Mike Coppinger, Joshua and Wilder will return on Dec. 23. The card will reportedly feature multiple notable heavyweights in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Coppinger also reported the news on Fury’s upcoming unification bout with Oleksandr Usyk. Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk Will Battle for the Undisputed Title After Francis Ngannou dropped Fury and narrowly lost a controversial decision to the lineal heavyweight champion, there are many questions are heading into this bout. Fury was grossly out of shape for the fight with Ngannou, which he probably won’t repeat in preparation for Usyk. However, has Fury taken a step back? Is he still as hungry as he needs to be with Usyk vying for the undisputed title? Fury will own a massive size and length advantage, but Usyk proved capable of overcoming a bigger opponent in both of his wins over Joshua. The fight taking place in February would benefit Fury, who may need time to regroup, recover, and train after his subpar outing against Ngannou. Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder Are Headed For a Clash in 2024 Joshua and Wilder are on a collision course for a big-money fight in Saudi Arabia sometime in 2024, and the December card sets the stage for their clash. Wilder takes on Joseph Parker in the former’s first fight since he scored a first-round KO win over Robert Helenius in October 2022. Wilder just turned 38 in October, and his sparkling 43-2-1 record is only stained by two losses and a draw to Fury.
