Mubadala raised its IBIT shares to 8.7M, worth $408M by March 2025. The Abu Dhabi fund added 491,439 shares in Q1 2025. BlackRock’s IBIT ETF offers a regulated way to invest in Bitcoin. In its first-quarter SEC filing, Mubadala revealed a substantial rise in its investment in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), bringing the total value to $408.5 million. By the end of March 2025, Mubadala had reported 8,726,972 IBIT shares in his possession. Compared to its position in December 2024, Mubadala’s ownership is currently 47% greater. In an effort to get into the lightning-fast cryptocurrency sector, Mubadala is boosting its stake in the Bitcoin Trust, which it views as a solid legal strategy.
