Crypto influencer Ben “BitBoy” Armstrong has been dismissed from a lawsuit relating to the collapse of FTX, while NFL star Trevor Lawrence and YouTube influencers Kevin Paffrath and Tom Nash have opted for undisclosed settlements in the case against them. The FTX estate is seeking to recover funds from various sources, but it remains uncertain how much it will be able to claw back from marketing and sponsorship payments under former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, which include payments to celebrity athletes and organizations, such as Shaquille O’Neal, the MLB and NBA franchises, Coachella, and Gamestop.
