OpenSeason and PlayDoge are two emerging blockchain gaming projects with unique features and promising potential for growth. Blockchain gaming has seen some exciting developments recently, with the creators of OpenSeason, a battle royale game reminiscent of Fortnite, revealing a significant token airdrop.  OpenSeason, developed by Fractional Uprising Studios, leverages Ethereum NFTs to offer unique gameplay experiences. The studio announced details of an upcoming token airdrop, aiming to reward players and investors. Holders of Fractional Uprising Studios NFT membership passes, which are currently required to play OpenSeason, will receive a portion of the 62.1 million “FU Money” tokens in this week’s airdrop.  This initial distribution represents 10% of the total FU token supply, with allocations based on wallet snapshots taken over time. The longer the NFTs were held, the more tokens the holders will receive. These tokens will be distributed via Arbitrum, an Ethereum layer-2 scaling network. Fractional Uprising Studios has also outlined a long-term roadmap for the FU token. After the initial airdrop, 30% of the token supply will be reserved for community rewards over the next decade, 20% will go to the studio team with a six-month vesting schedule, 5% will be allocated to a liquidity pool on Uniswap and the remaining 35% will fund future projects under the control of FU token holders. These funds will be locked for a year to allow the community to determine the best approach for future investments. OpenSeason’s integration of NFTs and its focus on community-driven development highlight its innovative approach to gaming. The game, available on the Epic Games Store, will soon open to a broader audience beyond NFT pass holders.
