Speaking recently, Draper said this shift could happen in ten years or less, marking the end of fiat money as we know it. The U.S. Dollar Index dropped 8% to 99.96 by early 2025—its lowest since April 2022. He sees stablecoins as a temporary bridge, but ultimately flawed like fiat, believing Bitcoin’s superior technology and decentralized nature will make it the global standard for storing and transferring value.
