Crypto News Bitcoin just reached its biggest ATH in the last 17 years, after breaking above the $125K barrier today. $BTC reached $125,376.68, according to CoinMarketCap data, before contracting to $124,900 at the time of writing. More importantly, the momentum didn’t wear off, as Bitcoin is now 14% up over the last seven days at the start of 2025’s Uptober. As expected, the market rallied closely behind, adding 1.8% to its $4.26T market cap, while BitBo’s Fear and Greed Index pushed to an ultra-bullish 74 on the greed scale. With October already up to a spicy start, Bitcoin Hyper’s ($HYPER) $21.5M presale shows a lot of promise going into Q4. As Bitcoin’s Layer 2 upgrade, Hyper aims to boost Bitcoin’s performance for faster and cheaper transactions and massive scalability. How Does the Q4 Bitcoin Look Like? The most optimistic outlook on Q4’s Bitcoin puts the asset at another ATH by the end of the year. The market sets the odds of a $130K price point at 86% while those of a $150K ATH are now at 40% and up. Standard Chartered agrees with this prediction and dares to go one step farther, with analyst Geoff Kendrick putting Bitcoin on a $200K price tag by the end of Q4. JP Morgan’s analysts also see Bitcoin reaching $165K in 2025, invoking catalysts like Bitcoin’s undervaluation relative to gold and the strong ETF inflows coming in recently. The rise in inflows is also what drove Citigroup to predict a $133K price point by the end of the year, with a $181K target for 2026. Citi analysts revised this prediction to a more realistic number in the context of a stronger US dollar and a weakened gold.
