Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said late Wednesday that a pause on reciprocal tariffs announced by US President Donald Trump is a welcome reprieve for the global economy. Trump signaled that the US will engage in bilateral negotiations that will likely result in a fundamental restructuring of the global trading system.
