Market News The goal of the proposed publicly traded fund is to provide American investors direct exposure to the price of CRO. This milestone comes after the announcement of Canary Capital and Crypto.com’s collaboration to create the Canary CRO Trust. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) has been submitted an S-1 registration statement from Canary Capital Group LLC (“Canary Capital”), an investment firm that specializes in digital assets, for the first spot CRO ETF in the United States. The goal of the proposed publicly traded fund is to provide American investors direct exposure to the price of CRO, the Cronos network’s native token. The fund’s custodian and liquidity provider will be Crypto.com. Eric Anziani, President and COO of Crypto.com stated: “ETFs have been an effective means for broadening investor participation in crypto and further integrating digital and traditional finance capabilities. We are tremendously excited to see this important step being taken in building towards all investors in the U.S. having the opportunity to engage with CRO through an ETF with Canary Capital.” This milestone comes after the announcement of Canary Capital and Crypto.com’s collaboration to create the Canary CRO Trust, the first CRO private investment vehicle for authorized U.S. investors.
