Following Ethereum (ETH) co-founder Vitalik Buterin’s recent post on the benefits of staking and further network decentralization, Cardano (ADA) co-founder Charles Hoskinson poked fun at it amid accusations that Ethereum was copying Cardano. Specifically, Hoskinson shared Buterin’s post and added an animated GIF of Muppet Kermit the Frog and actor Christian Bale nodding at one another, indicating he was mocking the statements presented in it, in a post on social media platform X published on October 8. Indeed, the Ethereum pioneer shared in his October 7 post the advantages of suggested changes in staking design for users who do not possess enough resources to stake on their own, giving them a more involved role in staking and consensus participation. Critique or obsession?
