JamboPhoneにペトラ搭載 アプトス財団（Aptos Foundation）が、web3スマートフォン「ジャンボフォン（JamboPhone）」を開発するアフリカ拠点のweb3企業ジャンボテクノロジー（JamboTechnology）との提携を2月15日発表した。 「ジャンボフォン」はアフリカ、東南アジア、ラテンアメリカのユーザー向けに40カ国以上で販売されており、日本居住者も「ジャンボフォン」の購入は可能だ。価格は99ドル（約15,000円）となっている。 今回の両社提携により同スマホには、レイヤー1ブロックチェーン 「アプトス」開発のアプトスラボ（Aptos Labs）が提供する暗号資産（仮想通貨）ウォレット「ペトラ（Petra）」やdApp（分散型アプリ）が標準アプリとしてプリインストールされることになったようだ。 他にも「ジャンボフォン」では同スマホのスポンサード・クエストを通して報酬を獲得できるプラットフォーム「ジャンボアーン（JamboEarn）」が同スマホには備わっているとのこと。 また両者は今回の提携を通して「アプトス」のブロックチェーンを活用し、web3の利便性と教育の強化の恩恵を、地理や経済的地位に関係なく誰もが受けれるように取り組むとのことだ。 なお同スマホは、6.5インチのIPS（In Plane Switching LCD）型ディスプレイや4900mAhのバッテリー、デュアルレンズカメラが搭載されたアンドロイド13（Android 13）スマホとなっている。 アプトスとは アプトスは、「Move（ムーヴ）」言語を採用したレイヤー1ブロックチェーン。「ムーヴ」は、メタ（旧：Facebook）が2019年に「リブラ（Libra）」として発足したステーブルコインプロジェクト「ディエム（Diem）」のチームが開発したスマートコントラクト言語だ。 なおアプトスの開発は、ディエムの開発チームに所属していたモー・シャイフ（Mo Shaikh）氏とエイブリー・チン（Avery Ching）氏が共同創業したアプトスラボ（Aptoslabs）が主導している。 またアプトスの独自トークンAPTは、国内暗号資産（仮想通貨）取引所オーケーコインジャパン（OKCoinJapan）にて、今月下旬より取り扱われる予定だ。予定通り同取引所にAPTが上場すれば、国内初の取り扱い事例となる。 1/ Aptos Foundation and @JamboTechnology have joined forces to enhance Web3 access in emerging markets.
