The post アスター、「Astar zkEVM」のテストネット「zKatana」ローンチ appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. アスターが「Astar zkEVM」のテストネットローンチ ステイクテクノロジーズ（Stake Technologies）が開発中の「Astar zkEVM Powered by Polygon」のテストネットが10月23日ローンチした。テストネットの名称は「zKatana（ズィーカタナ）」となるようだ。 「Astar zkEVM」は、ゼロ知識証明（zero-knowledge proof：zkp）を活用した「Polygon CDK（ポリゴン・チェーン開発キット）」によって開発されるイーサリアム（Ethereum）のレイヤー2ソリューション。先月9月に提供予定が発表されていた。 なおステイクテクノロジーズは、異なるブロックチェーンの相互運用性（インターオペラビリティ）を目指すプロジェクトであるポルカドット（Polkadot）のパラチェーン「アスターネットワーク（Astar Network）」を2022年1月にメインネットローンチしている。 「アスターネットワーク」は、ポルカドットエコシステム全体のシームレスな相互運用性の提供を目的としたプロジェクトであり、ポルカドットのバリデータによるセキュリティのもと、WASM（ウェブアセンブリ：ワズム）およびEVM（イーサリアムバーチャルマシン）といった仮想マシンへのアクセスを提供する他、開発者に資金提供する仕組みである「dAppステーキング」を提供している。 その一方で「Astar zkEVM」は、安全でスケーラブル、ガス効率の良いプラットフォームを企業に提供することに重点を置いたプロジェクトだ。アスターネットワークのエコシステムが提供してきた相互運用性に加え、zkp活用により高度な処理能力・拡張性（スケーラビリティ）・安全性・UXを実現できると発表されている。またブロックチェーン最大規模のユーザー数を有するイーサリアムの拡張機能であるレイヤー2技術を実装し、EVM（イーサリアムバーチャルマシン）環境と同等のEVM等価性を保持しているとのことだ。 発表によるとテストネット「zKatana」では、開発者がzkEVM上で既存のEVMスマートコントラクトが実行できるようになっている他、テストネットのETHを同テストネットへブリッジも可能だという。 また「zKatana」のガス代（ネットワーク手数料）となる同ネットワーク上のETHの請求（claim）もでき、その他にもテストネットのブロックエキスプローラも提供されるとのことだ。 またステイクテクノロジーズは、「zKatana」のテストと同テストネット上でのトライアル体験のため複数のプロジェクトやサービスプロパイダーと提携したという。 その中には「zkRollup-as-a-Service（RaaS）」のプロバイダーであるジェラート（Gelato）やアカウント抽象化SDK（ソフトウェア開発キット）提供のセーフコアSDK（Safe Core SDK）、オムニチェーンの相互運用プロトコル提供のレイヤーゼロ（LayerZero）、機関のマーケットデータをチェーンに提供するパイス（Pyth）、そしてアスターネットワークのファウンダーである渡辺創太氏がCEOを務めるweb3テック企業スターテイルラボ（Startale Labs）などの名前がある。 なお10月24日、KDDIがステイクテクノロジーズおよびスターテイルラボとの協業を発表し、KDDI提供の「αU market」および「αU wallet」における｢Astar zkEVM｣対応の検討を開始している。 Astar zkEVM テストネットがローンチされました！ その名もzKatana 　日本をルーツに持つAstarらしい名前になりました。 今回のローンチにより、世界トップレベルのテックスタックを兼ね備えたAstar zkEVMを、Web3に取り組む開発者や企業に提供します。… https://t.co/0hV2L0VVlL — Astar Network Japan (@AstarNetwork_JP) October 23, 2023 関連ニュース KDDIがアスターと協業開始、「αU」の「Astar zkEVM」対応検討へ アスターがイーサリアムL2参入、ポリゴンラボと協業で「Astar […]
