Bittrexが4月30日に米国事業終了へ 米暗号資産（仮想通貨）取引所ビットトレックス（Bittrex）が、4月30日をもって米国での事業を終了する。同取引所が1日発表した。 ビットトレックスは事業縮小に至った理由について、「米国での暗号資産に関する規制の不確実性が続いていること」、「経済環境的に事業継続が難しくなったこと」を挙げている。 ビットトレックスの米国ユーザーは29日までに全暗号資産を引き出す必要があるとのこと。取引に関しては14日まで、法定通貨の引き出しについては24日まで対応可能となっている。なおKYC（本人確認）済みの米国ユーザーがビットトレックスに預けている資金は全て安全だとビットトレックスは説明している。 今後ビットトレックスは、バミューダとリヒテンシュタインの法域で規制されているグローバル版暗号資産取引所「ビットレックス・グローバル（Bittrex Global）」で、米国以外の顧客に暗号資産サービスを提供していくとのことだ。 なおビットトレックスは現在の暗号資産に関する規制要件について「しばしば不明確で適切な議論や意見なしに規制が施行される為、競争環境は不均衡なものとなっている」と説明。これによりビットトレックスは「米国での事業はもはや実現不可能」と判断し、今回の米国事業終了に踏み切ったとのことだ。 米国の他の暗号資産取引所では、コインベース（Coinbase）が先月22日に証券法違反の疑いで米証券取引委員会（SEC）から「ウェルズ通知（Wells Notice）」を受け取ったことを発表している。 SECの調査対象となったのはコインベースのステーキングサービス「Coinbase Earn」、機関投資家向けの「Coinbase Prime」、「Coinbase Wallet」だという。なおコインベースは「ウェルズ通知」を受け取った時点では訴訟をされていない為、通常通りサービス運営を行うとしていた。 なおウェルズ通知とは、SECが企業・個人に対して、法的措置を講じる予定であることを通達する公式文書である。 関連ニュース 米SECがコインベースにウェルズ通知、証券法違反の疑いで コインベースがSECのステーキング規制を非難、意見書提出 バイナンスで英ポンド一時入出金停止へ、新たな決済業者探しへ コインベースが日本撤退、日本事業を大部分終了へ=報道 参考：Bittrex Source: https://www.neweconomy.jp/posts/306848
