NTTデジタルが「Web3.0・ブロックチェーンを活用したデジタル公共財等構築実証事業」の業務受託 NTTドコモのweb3を推進する子会社NTT Digital（NTTデジタル）が、経済産業省による「令和5年度 Web3.0・ブロックチェーンを活用したデジタル公共財等構築実証事業」に係る業務受託を8月14日発表した。 「令和5年度 Web3.0・ブロックチェーンを活用したデジタル公共財等構築実証事業」は、一般社団法人社会実装推進センター（JISSUI）が実施する経済産業省の令和5年度補正予算事業。ちなみに同事業の予算は4億4,999万円が上限として設定されている（2/2公開 同事業の企画競争募集要領を参照）。 今回NTTデジタルは、同事業の公募テーマ①-2「現物資産や無形資産のデジタル化市場（発行・流通市場）構築」に対して、TTデジタルが賛同企業と取り組む共創プロジェクト「web3 Jam」の取り組みを提案し、実証事業業務を受託したとのこと。 なお「web3 Jam」は、ブロックチェーンを活用した円滑な企業連携手法の検討・実施をめざすプロジェクト。複数の賛同企業とともに、各社会テーマにおける共創の方法を検討しているという。 「web3 Jam」にはNTTドコモの他、味の素、アサヒ飲料、コナミデジタルエンタテインメント、九州旅客鉄道、三菱地所、サンリオ、東京ドーム、ヤマハ発動機など大手企業14社が同プロジェクト発足時より参画している。 NTTデジタルは、「本実証事業を通じて、ブロックチェーン技術をはじめとした最新のデジタル技術の社会実装に、引き続き取り組んでいく」とした。 「Web3.0・ブロックチェーンを活用したデジタル公共財等構築実証事業」の目的について 経産省はWeb3.0・ブロックチェーン技術について、将来的なポテンシャルを秘めた技術であるものの、「実利で動く民間事業者にとって価値が見えづらい」「インフラ構築は公共性が高く民間事業者のみで取り組む経済合理性が低い」「ルール整備は進んでいるが依然として複雑・不明瞭な部分も多い」といった課題により、社会実装/社会受容が十分に進んでいない状況にあると説明している。 これらの課題に対応するため同事業では、産業及び社会における課題の解決等に資する公共性の高いユースケーステーマを設定し、各業界もしくは業界横断のWeb3.0・ブロックチェーンを活用したデジタル公共財等の構築に係る実証を支援するという。 同事業により、民間事業者にとってメリットを認知させる具体的成果や手法を公開していくことで業界全体としてのコスト・リスクを下げるとともに、デジタル公共財としてのデータ標準の策定・データ連携基盤構築や、公共財としてのガイドライン・ルール整備等を支援するとのこと。 そしてこれにより投機的なWeb3.0ビジネスだけでない新たなユースケースを創出し、Web3.0・ブロックチェーンの社会実装/社会受容の加速を目指すとのことだ。 関連ニュース 経産省の「令和5年度 Web3.0・ブロックチェーンを活用したデジタル公共財等構築実証事業」、事業者公募が開始 NTTデジタルが新プロジェクト「web3 Jam」立ち上げ、ブロックチェーン活用で円滑な企業連携めざす NTTデジタルとマツモト、卒業アルバムにブロックチェーン活用へ NTTデジタルの「scramberry WALLET」、サンリオのコミュニティサービスに年内導入へ NTTデジタルが「OpenWallet Foundation」に加盟、民間企業で日本初 images:iStocks/artsstock   Source: https://www.neweconomy.jp/posts/409944
