SMBC日興証券とハタプロが「Proof of Japan」設立 SMBC日興証券とハタプロが、web3関連事業を行う新会社「Proof of Japan株式会社」を合同で設立したことを4月6日発表した。 なおハタプロは、AIロボット・電子機器の企画/開発/販売・IoTデバイスの共同研究/共同開発をする企業だ。ハタプロの代表取締役社長である伊澤諒太氏が新会社の代表に就く。なお出資比率はハタプロ86%、ＳＭＢＣ日興証券14%とのこと。 新会社「Proof of Japan」では、次世代技術を活用した日本の文化・芸能の支援事業として、「 日本の文化・芸能を支援するグローバルなWeb3コミュニティの構築と会員制サービスの提供」、「日本の文化・芸能を次世代に伝承するワークショップの開催」、「次世代の日本の文化・芸能を担う人材の支援」を実施するとのこと。 発表によると両社の考えは「日本の文化・芸能が持つ潜在的な経済価値を顕在化・最大化するためにはグローバルで支援する仕組みを整えることが必要」とのことで、新会社は、web3やメタバースの技術を活用した次世代サロンの構築を視野に入れたグローバルな支援コミュニティの形成を目的として立ち上げるに至ったとのことだ。 なお両社は昨年7月に、新会社設立に先駆けた実験的取り組みとして、文化庁移転記念プログラムにも認定されている「NEO KYOTO NFT ARTs」を立ち上げていたとのこと。 この取り組みは「未来の街づくり×NFTアートの実証プログラム」として、京都の未来を担う学生に未来のKYOTOの空間を織りなすコンテンツやイメージをアート作品に表現してもらい、NFT（ブロックチェーン技術を使い「唯一無二の本物」と証明可能にした非代替性トークン）化された作品をグローバルに展示・販売し、収益を学生と京都市の教育に寄付をしたとのこと。 これによりSMBC日興証券とハタプロは、日本の価値観を世界に発信し、次世代インバウンドへの訴求に繋げる産学官連携の取り組みをスタートさせていたとのことだ。 なおこのプロジェクトにおいては、SMBC日興証券がプロジェクトの企画、NFT関連のノウハウ提供を担当し、ハタプロがオンラインコミュニティ構築やNFT発行、メタバース空間作成等の技術面を担当したとのことだ。 関連ニュース SMBCが譲渡不可NFT「SBT」で新事業検討、発行はパレットチェーンで SMBCとHashPort、NFTなどトークンビジネスで協業 ドコモがweb3に6000億円投資へ、暗号資産発行やウォレット、交換事業も計画 テレビ東京がDEAに約3億円出資、放送外事業拡充で業務提携 DeNA、M＆AでWeb3事業拡大を目指すその理由は？（Web3戦略準備室 田中翔太） 参考：SMBC日興証券デザイン：一本寿和images:iStocks/Максим-Ивасюк・metamorworks Source: https://www.neweconomy.jp/posts/307865
