The Layer-1 relational blockchain, which debuted its first public mainnet earlier in 2024, is preparing for the next phase and ecosystem expansion. In a revised roadmap released today, Chromia outlines short-term development objectives and positions the company for big announcements during their speaking slot at TOKEN2049 Singapore, which takes place on September 18 and 19 at the Marina Bay Sands Resort. By obscuring goals beyond the event, the roadmap adopts a novel strategy that builds community expectation for what the platform will hold until the end of 2025. Deliverables like as the introduction of Native Staking, Bridge Enhancements, and the mainnet launch of Filehub, a decentralized file storage service, are also included in the timeline and are anticipated by the end of Q3 of this year. Filehub will allow bigger token metadata, including pictures, animations, videos, and music, to be stored on-chain.
