The company has moved beyond its crypto-only model and started building what it calls an “everything exchange,” a space where users can access multiple types of assets from a single account.

U.S. users will be able to trade stocks and ETFs within the Coinbase app 24 hours a day, five days a week. All operations are consolidated in a single wallet and transaction history, allowing users to manage both stocks and cryptocurrencies in parallel. The exchange warns that trading outside regular hours will be limited to certain symbols, with reduced liquidity and wider spreads.

Coinbase Tokenize, Trading, Jupiter, and More

The company also introduced Coinbase Tokenize, a platform that will allow users to tokenize stocks and other real-world assets. This product complements the expansion of trading capabilities on Solana, which will enable trading on Jupiter, a decentralized exchange (DEX) aggregator, directly from the app. This integration will significantly increase the number of crypto assets available to users, beyond the tokens listed on the centralized exchange, where assets undergo a rigorous legal, compliance, and security review.

In the prediction markets segment, the company partnered with Kalshi to offer contracts to U.S. users, with plans to integrate additional markets in the coming months.

Advisory Services for All Types of Investors

Additionally, Coinbase launched an AI-powered financial advisor designed to provide investment recommendations based on each user’s risk profile. The tool is overseen by a team of portfolio managers with 75 years of combined experience and aims to democratize access to financial advice, traditionally reserved for high-net-worth clients.
