The August market crash had many people nervous, but it was just a blip on the bull run radar as most coins have almost completely recovered and are going faster than ever. This is the resilience of crypto. But there’s never something for nothing, and while some tokens rode it out, established coins like Filecoin and Litecoin are not as lucky. These old-school tokens are just not advanced enough for the contemporary crypto market in the way Presale tokens like Rollblock are. Litecoin (LTC): Litecoin price fails to impress in bull run Litecoin used to be a proving ground for Bitcoin. Whatever Bitcoin can do, Litecoin can do cheaper and faster. But it has fallen out of favour, and while a token like Bitcoin doubled in the last year, the Litecoin price almost halved. Litecoin was once a top-10 token, but the Litecoin price is a mere 15% off its ATH. While it did see a slight rise in March, Litecoin is trending downwards. This legacy token has outlived its usefulness, and the Litecoin price will likely trend to zero, no matter how many bull runs come along. Filecoin (FIL): Great idea, bad timing If electronic tokens had feelings, one would almost be obliged to feel sorry for Filecoin. Filecoin was one of the better ideas to come out of blockchain tech, but it just never took off. Filecoin is trading at a mere 2% of its ATH, and no crypto bull run, no matter how strong, will revive Filecoin to the $230 mark it held in April 2021.
