The top crypto prices today registered a mixed action as the Bitcoin (BTC) price sustained the $72,000 level after attaining a peak at over $72,850. In addition, the Ethereum price soared above the $4,000 mark. Meanwhile, other top altcoins, such as Solana (SOL), XRP, Cardano (ADA) experienced volatility.

Major Crypto Prices Today

The Bitcoin price attained the $72,000 mark again. The Bitcoin price was up by 0.53%, reaching $72,181.36 at the time of writing on Wednesday, March 13. On the other hand, it’s trading volume dipped by 5.37% to $61.17 billion in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the crypto boasted a market cap of $1.41 trillion.

Looking at altcoins, the Ethereum price gained by 0.13% to $4,043.54 at press time with a market valuation of $485.51 billion. Whilst, ETH saw its trading volume decline by 6.80%, reaching $2,6.17 billion. Meanwhile, the Binance Coin (BNB) price defied the gaining momentum and dipped 0.64%, reaching $537.94. On the contrary, its 24-hour trade volume gained by 9.27% to $4.04 billion.

The Solana price extended lower than the $150 level. The Solana price dropped by 2.70%, settling at $149.70. In addition, SOL witnessed a 0.99% hike in trade volume to $5.67 billion in the last 24 hours. Whilst, the XRP price approached the $0.70 level. The XRP price recorded a gain of 0.06%, reaching $0.6952. Moreover, XRP’s trading volume plummeted by 49.81% to $3.62 billion.

Meanwhile, the Cardano price tumbled by 1.63% to $0.7511 today. Whilst, ADA recorded a 29.16% plunge in its 24-hour trading volume, settling at $936.72 million. As the top crypto prices registered volatility, popular meme coins also followed. The Dogecoin price was down by 1.63% to $0.1717 while its rival, Shiba Inu price declined by 1.09% in value and traded at $0.00003285.

Pepe Coin Gains

The Pepe Coin (PEPE) crypto, a popular meme coin, soared over 7% today. At press time, the Pepe Coin price was up by 7.18% to $0.000008999 with a market valuation of $3.76 billion. In contrast, its 24-hour trade volume was down by 7.70% to $1.37 billion.

Toncoin Rallies 20%

Toncoin (TON), the crypto launched by Telegram, recorded an impressive surge of over 20% and ranked the top crypto gainer for two consecutive days. The TON price soared by 20.50% to $4.44 at the time of reporting. Moreover, its trade volume surged by 37.11% to $371.45 million. Furthermore, the Toncoin crypto recorded a high of $4.50 amid the rally recently.
