DeepSeek is the latest advancement among AI-powered chatbots, and it shook the AI world recently when it beat existing models in multiple key benchmarks while supposedly requiring a fraction of the cost to train and operate. In fact, the performance of DeepSeek has been so impressive that it caused a crash in several U.S. tech stocks such as NVDA by sparking concerns that they are potentially overvalued. DeepSeek sees Bitcoin reaching as high as $150,000 in Q1 We asked DeepSeek to predict the Bitcoin price by the end of the first quarter of the year, and it’s most optimistic estimate forecasts BTC to reach as high as $150,000 by the end of March. The DeepSeek AI based this optimistic forecast on stock-to-flow (S2F) models and the history of price rallies following each Bitcoin halving. “Historically, Bitcoin’s price has surged post-halving due to reduced supply growth. The 2024 halving could catalyze a rally, with effects potentially peaking 12–18 months later, aligning with Q1 2025. Past cycles suggest a possible new all-time high, though past performance isn’t a guaranteed indicator.” Interestingly enough, the algorithmic Bitcoin price prediction on CoinCodex forecasts a similar price for Bitcoin at the end of the first quarter. Currently, the algorithm is forecasting BTC to trade at $142,000 by the end of March 2025.  MicroStrategy executive chairman Michael Saylor recently provided an even more optimistic price target than $150,000, saying that Bitcoin could reach as high as $180,000.  However, we should clarify that DeepSeek is not unconditionally bullish on BTC.
