Crypto News Polkadot has been a cornerstone in the evolution of Web3 infrastructure. Yet, recent price trends have left participants questioning its near-term resilience. After failing to break past the $6 mark earlier this year, DOT has entered a bearish channel, pushing the price down by 10% over the past week. Despite this decline, several indicators hint at a possible rebound, especially as broader market sentiment improves and parachain development accelerates. Technical Indicators Point to a Critical Turning Point Polkadot’s 4-hour chart shows the asset moving within a descending channel. This pattern resembles a bull flag, typically seen as a continuation pattern following a sharp rise—in this case, DOT’s previous move to $5.60. However, accompanying signals challenge this bullish setup. The Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) has dropped from 0.17 to 0.08, reflecting diminished buying pressure. Similarly, the Awesome Oscillator (AO) has turned negative, indicating growing bearish momentum. On the daily timeframe, the 20-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) recently crossed above the 50-day EMA. Known as a golden cross, this pattern generally signals a bullish shift. But in Polkadot’s case, the price has dipped below both EMAs, which weakens the signal. Should DOT fall below the 50 EMA entirely, prices could correct to $3.24 or lower. However, a sustained move back above the 20 EMA could reignite upward momentum and push DOT toward $5.22 or even $6.44. The Road to $25: What Would It Take? For Polkadot to reach $25 by 2026, several macro and project-specific factors must align. First, continued adoption of its parachain architecture will be crucial. Polkadot’s ability to offer scalable, secure, and customizable blockchain environments through parachains has already attracted a diverse set of decentralized applications. Increased utility through cross-chain messaging (XCM) and integration with traditional enterprises could further boost demand for DOT tokens. Additionally, enhanced governance…
