The crypto sector has just received yet another major thumbs up from mainstream finance. Fidelity Investments, one of the world’s largest asset managers with a staggering $5.9 trillion under management, has officially filed for a spot Solana ETF listing on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). This is a definite indication that Solana ($SOL) is being viewed more and more as an acceptable investment vehicle and could be the turning point for institutional adoption of the blockchain system. The blockchain possesses high-speed and low-cost transactions with the potential to process thousands of transactions per second at a fraction of the cost of Ethereum.
