After a spooky Halloween Night that ended in another shocking elimination, Dancing With the Stars is switching gears. This week’s episode will celebrate all things rock and roll, from thrilling partner routines to the return of the fan-favorite team dance challenge. Last week, the couples hit the ballroom floor in eerie costumes and performed haunting routines. Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy earned the highest score of the night, receiving three 10s from the judges and one 9 from guest judge Cheryl Burke. The pair cemented themselves at the top of the leaderboard after finishing second in the Dance Monster-thon, ultimately losing to Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, who landed in the No. 2 spot overall by the end of the night. Missing from the ballroom was Elaine Hendrix, who was hospitalized due to an injury in rehearsal. During the broadcast, co-host Alfonso Riberio revealed that the doctors cleared Elaine to stay in the competition if she survived tonight’s elimination.
