Japanese media Asahi reported on Thursday that the Japanese government is considering what actions to take over the new tariffs, including an extra budget. Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on Thursday highlighted its disappointment and “serious concern” over the US move to impose reciprocal tariffs on the Asian nation’s products.
