Unlike many offshore trading platforms, Kalshi operates under oversight from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), enforcing rules similar to those in traditional financial markets. At the center of Kalshi’s announcement is the formation of an independent Surveillance Advisory Committee.
