Besides building a career in politics and law, the United States Vice President Kamala Harris has established a diverse investment portfolio targeting various products.  Indeed, some of VP Harris’ investments have been made individually, while others are joint ventures alongside her husband, Douglas Emhoff. Notably, an overview of her investment portfolio shows a large concentration in mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETF). For 2024, her stock portfolio has shown positive performance across several investments. Below is a breakdown of the returns on some selected products. iShares Core MSCI EAFE ETF (IEFA) The iShares Core MSCI EAFE ETF tracks the performance of the MSCI EAFE Index, which includes large- and mid-cap stocks across 21 developed markets, excluding the US and Canada.  This ETF started the year at $69.58 and, as of July 18, is trading at $75, representing a gain of approximately 8.07%, potentially reflecting an international solid equity market performance. Source: Yahoo Finance Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund (VTSAX) VTSAX aims to track the performance of the CRSP US Total Market Index, which includes nearly 100% of the investable US stock market across large-, mid-, small-, and micro-cap stocks regularly traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and NASDAQ. At the start of the year, the fund was trading at $114.76 and has risen to $133.92.  These values reflect a rise of about 16.71%.
