Julius Randle, one of the Knicks’ most important players, missed the playoffs entirely with a shoulder injury. Mitchell Robinson, OG Anunoby and Josh Hart all battled injuries during the playoffs, and Jalen Brunson suffered a broken left hand in the second quarter of Game 7. Now a year later, the Knicks are fully healthy and will seek revenge against the high-octane Pacers in their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance in 25 years. “Yeah, man, it’s going to be a tough opponent,” Hart told reporters after notching a triple-double as the Knicks walloped the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics, 119-81, to win the series 4-2. “They push the pace, they run off makes and misses, and it’s going to be a huge communication series for us.
