Memecoin launchpad LetsBonk has eclipsed Pump.fun’s 24-hour revenue
LetsBonk also surpassed the number of daily tokens created on Pump.fun
LetsBonk is the first Solana memecoin launchpad to dilute Pump.fun’s dominance

Solana-based memecoin launchpad LetsBonk has eclipsed popular token launchpad Pump.fun’s 24-hour revenue, making it the first Solana launchpad to do so. Created by the BONK memecoin community, LetsBonk’s 24-hr revenue reached $1.23 million while Pump.fun made $520,000, according to data from DeFiLlama. The number of tokens created on LetsBonk in the last 24 hours is also more than double those created on Pump.fun, with LetsBonk churning out 21,655 tokens while Pump.fun produced 9,960 tokens.

LetsBonk Controls the Market

According to data from Dune, LetsBonk holds the largest market share at 61.7%, compared to Pump.fun’s 27.4%. The Moonshot launchpad comes a distant third holding 6.1% while others like Jup Studio and LaunchLab have a 2% share each.

The number of memecoins that have graduated to active trading is also high on LetsBonk at 228 tokens compared to Pump.fun’s 67 tokens. Pump.fun has, however, outshined LetsBonk in the number of active addresses.

In the last 24 hours, for example, there were more than 100,000 active addresses compared to LetsBonk’s slightly over 80,000 addresses. Raydium’s LaunchLab came second with 44,787 addresses. LetsBonk was launched in April, and its market share has been oscillating between 2 and 18% before its current success.

Criticism, Rivalry, and Competition

LetsBonk flipping Pump.fun was long overdue since Pump.fun has been embroiled in unending criticism from the community, rivalry with Raydium DEX, and general competition from upcoming token launchpads. The Pump.fun community, for example, criticized the platform’s livestream feature, saying it promotes dangerous stunts by memecoin developers trying to promote their tokens.

The memecoin platform ditched Raydium and launched its own DEX, PumpSwap, something that saw Raydium launch LaunchLabs.

With LetsBonk challenging Pump.fun’s dominance, it’s to be seen whether LetsBonk will sustain the lead.
