Metaplanet has revealed its latest acquisition of 330 BTC, valued at $28 million, following Bitcoin’s surge to $87K. This 330 BTC accumulation marks Metaplanet’s third Bitcoin purchase this month, following a 319 BTC buy on April 14. In 2024, Metaplanet purchased around 1,762 BTC, worth an estimated $136 million. Metaplanet, Japan’s first and only publicly listed Bitcoin Treasury Company, has added another 330 Bitcoins to its portfolio, its third purchase this month—valued at around $28.2 million. As per Metaplanet disclosure on 21st April, the purchase is made at an average price of $85,605 or 12.18 million Japanese Yen. The announcement of the purchase corresponds with the price of Bitcoin surpassing the $87k mark for the first time since April 2.  The overall market is impacted by the uncertainty due to US tariff acts, but Metaplanet is going against the stream with its third Bitcoin purchase this month. The Overall BTC Accumulation and Target of Metaplanet  It’s been one year since the company came up with its Bitcoin accumulation strategy. Since then, it has accumulated a total of 4,855 BTC, which  is worth  over $420 million. Also, the company has a target of purchasing 10,000 BTC by the 2025 year-end and 21,000 BTC by the 2026 year-end. In 2024, Metaplanet purchased around 1,762 BTC, worth an estimated $136 million.  On April 1, the company made the largest single buy after purchasing 696 Bitcoin. After that, another purchase of 319 BTC was made on April 14. The data from Google Finance shows that the stock of Metaplanet was up 0.28% in the past 24 hours.
